Panoramic Thermal Radar Solution for Forest Fire Prevention
Ordinary observation methods for forest fire prevention are mostly watchtower and video surveillance system with manpower being deeply involved. Eye fatigue, soldering or smoke would somehow lower the monitoring accuracy and efficiency.
In order to improve the work efficiency and find out the fire spot on timely basis, UnbTek uses panoramic thermal radar system and EO gimbal camera to build up a dual-light monitoring system for fire prevention, therefore, make it more workable and environmental proof for full-time and all-weather permanent monitoring on the potential fire disasters.
High resolution IR and EO sensors with large prime lens enable the system to observe in a large scale up to 3km sitting on a tower of certain height. Target recognition and early warning command system help users find suspicious target and draw moving trace in pre-set monitoring zone while sending sound and visual alarms with possible emergency plans and solutions. It only takes 2 seconds from the detection of the fire source to the alarm, whihc leaves precious time for rescue work.
The infrared panoramic radar system has a maximum detection radius of up to 3km for medium-sized fire sources, and it is used with visible light equipment for the secondary confirmation to reduce false alarms. The system can detect and warn in the early stage of the fire, thus providing more time for disaster disposal.
The 360° panoramic imaging frame rate of up to 1Hz, and detection method we use can realize the integrated monitoring and verification of static environment and fire source targets, so that it has real-time awareness of scenes and threat perception capabilities, and solves the problem of poor real-time linkage between the system and the video surveillance system of ordinary surveillance methods.
