UAV Spray in Neighborhood for Epidemic Protection
Responded to the call from local authorities, Unbtek used helicopter UAV X50 carrying 84 disinfectant and spraying it in local communities during the outbreak of the pandemic.
Operators used RTK module and cellphone to design the route of flight so that the whole neighborhood could be covered. 5L tank of disinfectant and auto-recharging function also improve working efficiency comparing to spraying by manpower, especially, the unmanned system cut off the route of transmission of the virus and therefore, much lowering the possibility of cross-infection between people.
At the moment, the grand total of infection is over 50 million worldwide. In addition to reducing unnecessary social contacts and wearing masks, we need to come together and be united as one in coming up with ideas of advanced technologies in preventing this global virus as we are all coming from a community of common destiny and no one could detach itself from our interconnected world. And infrared technologies and unmanned systems may be two of what could be carried forward for the moment.
