How Does Pan-tilt Work
The shaking and vibration of a drone would inevitably affect the image quality of a camera attached to it during flight, therefore, a pan-tilt or what we call gimbal camera system who would catch the movement of the fuselage through sensors and keep the camera in its original position through motor drive, so as to offset the impact of the shaking or vibration.
Pan tilt is mainly driven by brushless motors to achieve stability of the camera in horizontal, rolling, and pitch directions. The camera can be configured with mini RGB camera, GoPro, and thermal camera.
